General Terms & Conditions
These terms apply generally to access to and use of the CoRide website, mobile applications, platform and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing the CoRide platform or using CoRide services, you agree to these General Terms and any additional terms that apply to your role as a rider, driver, business partner or cooperative member.
2. The CoRide Platform
CoRide is a Canadian transportation platform that facilitates connections between riders, approved drivers, local businesses and communities. Service availability may vary by location, account status and regulatory requirements.
3. Account Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Protect your login credentials.
- Report suspected unauthorized access.
- Do not use the platform for fraud, abuse, harassment or unlawful activity.
4. Payments, Charges & Fees
Users are responsible for fares, fees, taxes and other charges disclosed through the platform. Payment processing may be provided by authorized third-party processors.
5. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes
Cancellation, waiting and other service-related fees may apply where disclosed. Completed trips are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where CoRide confirms a duplicate charge, billing error or verified service issue.

6. Safety & Conduct
All users are expected to behave lawfully, respectfully and safely. CoRide may investigate complaints and may restrict, suspend or deactivate access where platform rules, safety requirements or applicable laws are violated.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how CoRide collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information, including name, phone number and email address.
- Ride information, including pickup and destination locations and trip history.
- Driver and vehicle information, where applicable.
- Payment-related information processed through authorized payment providers.
- Device, IP address, diagnostics, app activity and security information.
- Support requests, complaints and communications with CoRide.
2. How We Use Information
- Create and manage accounts.
- Facilitate ride requests and transportation services.
- Process payments and maintain transaction records.
- Verify drivers, vehicles and eligibility documents.
- Support safety, fraud prevention, security and customer service.
- Comply with legal, regulatory and insurance obligations.
3. Information Sharing
CoRide may share limited information with payment processors, hosting and communications providers, insurance providers, professional advisers and authorities where required or permitted by law.
CoRide does not sell personal information for direct monetary compensation.
4. Data Security & Access
CoRide uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Privacy-related inquiries may be sent to admin@coride.ca.
Rider Agreement
These terms apply specifically to users who request or receive transportation services through CoRide.
1. Account Use
Riders must provide accurate account information and use the platform lawfully.
2. Ride Requests
A ride request does not guarantee driver availability. Trips are subject to service area, driver availability and platform functionality.
3. Fares & Payments
Riders are responsible for fares and charges disclosed through the platform. Fare estimates may differ from final charges where trip conditions change.
4. Rider Conduct
- Treat drivers, passengers and property respectfully.
- Do not engage in threatening, discriminatory, abusive or unlawful conduct.
- Do not damage or excessively soil a driver's vehicle.
- Follow reasonable safety instructions.
5. Lost Property & Complaints
CoRide may assist with lost-property recovery but does not guarantee recovery. Safety concerns and complaints should be reported promptly.
Driver Agreement
These terms apply specifically to approved drivers using the CoRide Driver App and platform.
1. Driver Eligibility
- Valid driver's licence and required driving records.
- Required police-record or background screening.
- Valid vehicle registration and insurance.
- Required vehicle inspections or safety certificates.
- Any applicable municipal or provincial requirements.
2. Driver Responsibilities
- Maintain required licences, insurance and vehicle documents.
- Provide safe, lawful, professional and respectful service.
- Comply with traffic, transportation and safety laws.
- Use the platform honestly and protect rider information.
3. Earnings & Payouts
Driver earnings, deductions, fees and payout information will be disclosed through the platform or related driver communications.
4. Insurance & Platform Access
Drivers must maintain all insurance required by law and CoRide onboarding requirements. Driver access may be restricted or deactivated where eligibility or safety requirements are not maintained.
5. Cooperative Membership
Driving with CoRide does not automatically make a driver an owner or cooperative member. Eligible approved drivers may be invited or permitted to apply for cooperative membership.
